PRIVATE CHARTER
As an Individual: Per day, weekend, 1 or 2 weeks or longer as required. Coastal cruising in the Ionian Sea, Aegean Sea, Gulf of Corinth etc with overnight anchorages and/or marina stops as required. Arrive and depart from a marina or port as required by you or nearest to your chosen airport (if arriving by air).
Skippered Charter: Hire the entire yacht plus Skipper per day, weekend, 1 or 2 weeks or longer as required. Coastal cruising in the Ionian Sea, Aegean Sea, Gulf of Corinth etc with overnight anchorages and/or marina stops as required. Typical day sailing distances would be 30 – 60 miles which is easily achievable in less than 1 day sailing in this large, comfortable yacht. Arrive and depart from a marina or port as required by you or nearest to your chosen airport (if arriving by air).
Hen & Stag Parties: Take a day or weekend and you can have your fun ashore and on-board!! Provide own food and drinks
RYA Mileage Building - for up to 8 people to include night/overnight sailing. We can tailor a 'cruise' to suit you.
What's Included on-board for all Activities:
- UKMCA-Approved life-jackets (including sea water light, whistle etc)
- Personal safety lines for all
- Life-raft, emergency grab bag with coastal First Aid kit and full Flare pack
- 2.7m 'Quicksilver' inflatable tender with oars and 3.3HP Mariner outboard
- 135m2 asymmetric spinnaker
- LCD TV, stereo radio/CD player; DVD player; iPod connection
- Fresh drinking water to a max of 2 litres per person per day
- Tea, coffee, milk and sugar.
Options (charged separately)
- Marina fees and/or local anchorage charges (if any)
- Water and electricity charges in marinas (if any)
- Choice of pre-prepared meals for day cruises
- Food, soft drinks (excluding tea and coffee), alcohol, mixers and ice
- Fuel (petrol) of outboard engine use (approx €10/week stc)
- Laundry for bedding (subject to local charges to be advised)
Notes:
1.Some individuals may require certain travel visas and documentation depending on the country(s) to be visited and the individuals own nationality. Such documentation should be obtained and paid for in advance of joining DIGNITY CRUISING .
2. Whilst DIGNITY CRUISING has its own insurance, including 3rd Party Cover up to £3,000,000, each individual should make their own arrangements for Personal Insurance including specific coverage for sailing activities, travel, injury etc.
Dignity Cruising Clothing List
Suggested Packing List - This list is not definitive but may help your packing!
- Current Passport valid for the countries being visited - you will need this on board with you.*
- The EHIC (European Health Insurance Card) will give you emergency state-provided medical treatment in European member states. It replaces the old E111 form - apply through The Post Office (www.postoffice.co.uk). Remember, EHIC doesn’t replace travel insurance
- Soft collapsible bag for packing and for easy stowage on board
- Towel for showers and swimming + toiletries
- I can provide you with a double duvet and pillows - please can you wash the covers in a marina laundrette before leaving the boat, OR bring a sleeping bag if you would prefer.
- Swimwear (we can hope!)
- High factor sun cream and/or sun block
- Insect repellent and hat for sun protection
- Soft-soled, non-marking shoes, e.g. deck shoes
- Layers of clothing from shorts/trousers to t-shirts/jumpers
- Fleece or sailing jacket and sailing gloves
- Wet weather gear
- Any medication you may be on
- Seasickness pills (non-drowsy) if you are in any doubt!!!
- Sunglasses & any prescription glasses
- Mobile phone charger or 12v plug in lead (although I do have NOKIA chargers)
- Dignity Cruising will provide a fully-serviced and MCA approved life-jacket with integral harness together with a safety line for each person on-board.
